Sharon Cuneta who has been rumored to have staged a walkout--from her own show, no less.
The Megastar refuted such rumor, saying she had to leave because she wasn’t feeling well.
“Some things happened na hindi inaasahan. Low batt[ery] ako that day. Off na off ako. And I just felt hindi ko magagawan ng… hindi ko mabibigay ang one hundred percent ko sa audience ko kung pipilitin ko that day. I’d rather not do it kung half-baked, di ba?†explained the singer, host and actress in a “TV Patrol World†interview.
The award-winning thespian added, “I don’t like to be a 'flastic.' I’m not!â€
Reports circulated late last month that Sharon allegedly stormed out from a taping of her Sunday evening variety-talk show “Sharon†because she didn’t like the “naughty†theme of the production.
A tearful Sharon is said to have gone straight to her dressing room. The shocked staff tried to comfort her but she wouldn’t talk to them. After some time, she reportedly left the building.
That aside, Sharon and her solon-husband Francis “Kiko†Pangilinan will take a break from showbiz and intrigues to celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary on Sunday, May 2, at a beach.
