Despite her sex video scandal with Dr. Hayden Kho, there's no stopping actress-model Maricar Reyes' acting career as she appears in ABS-CBN's top rating show "May Bukas Pa." The sex scandal appears to have made Reyes stronger as she dared go on with her life through a special acting project with Zaijan Jaranilla or Santino in "May Bukas Pa."
In the series, Reyes plays the role of Ina, a homeless, greasy vagrant with a dark past. People despise her because of her smell and physical appearance, not knowing that she was really a beautiful woman whose heart was broken before she lost her sanity.
Aside from "May Bukas Pa," Reyes is also busy taping for her first starring role in a TV series, "Your Song Presents: Gaano Kita Kamahal." Reyes made her first public appearance following the sex video scandal on the musical variety show “ASAP ‘09†Sunday, June 20 during Star Magic’s 17th anniversary celebration. Star Magic, formerly ABS-CBN Talent Center, is ABS-CBN's talent training and management program.
Reyes, a practicing doctor, and Kho, a cosmetic surgeon, dated for a year when they were still in medical school. Kho is the central figure in the scandal involving his videos with different women, which have been spread through the Internet. Watch "May Bukas Pa," Mondays to Fridays after TV Patrol on ABS-CBN.
