Sunshine Cruz keeps mum on marital woes

Cesar Montano and Sunshine Cruz were a picture of marital bliss during the second birthday of their daughter, Angel Francesca, at the Le Salon ballroom of Hyatt Hotel and Casino in Manila, last December 1.
On Christmas day, the couple reportedly had a heated argument over Cesar's alleged affair with 16-year-old half-Filipina, half-Brazilian model Mariana del Rio. Reports claimed that Sunshine, along with their three daughters, left their Quezon City home.
And two days before new year, the marriage of Buboy and Shine, according to sources, is on the rocks. Sunshine's manager Alfie Lorenzo, in his Startalk interview yesterday, December 29, revealed: "Noong isang araw nga, tumawag sa akin si Sunshine. Sabi niya, ‘Tito, hiwalay na kami ni Buboy.' Ganoon. 'Tapos, sabi ko, ‘Ano'ng nangyari?' Sabi niya, ‘Lumayas ako kasama ng mga bata.'"
Cesar denied the separation but admitted the spat. He said in his text message to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) Editor-in-Chief Jo-Ann Q. Maglipon yesterday, December 29: "This is 1 of Shines childish reactions on things..somebody jst txtd her n poisond her mind.she overreactd n speculated wildly."
Sunshine has been keeping mum about the "separation" rumors. Even in the statement she sent to Maglipon today, December 30, at 4:16 p.m., the 30-year-old actress did not mention anything about the real deal of her marriage to Cesar.
She simply said: "Pls bear with me if I choose not to talk. I have 3 little angels na kailangang pag-ingatan sa lahat ng ito. Please pray that everything will be ok in the long run. Thanks for all the support and concern you have been giving my family. I'm still hoping and praying for the best. Thanks for your undestanding. God bless."
This is the second "separation" issue that the couple faced this year. The first erupted last June. The trigger, according to some sources, was when Buboy went to a girlie bar AirForce1 in Parañaque.
The two countered the media reports at the time. Sunshine even reacted to rumors claiming she left their house: "OA naman ang balitang naglayas ako. Unang-una, ang hirap maglayas. Saan naman ako pupunta? Oo, nandiyan ang Mommy ko, pero nakakahiya naman kung gagawin ko ‘yon. 'Tsaka, tatlo ang mga anak namin ni Buboy [Cesar's nickname]. Ang hirap na maglayas na kasa-kasama ang mga bata. Siyempre, with matching yaya pa ang mga ‘yan at mga gamit. Kaya isang entourage ang mangyayari kapag naglayas ako, di ba?"
This time, aside from "third party" angle, the sources are pointing to Shine's issue on "respect." Alfie said in the same interview with Startalk, "Nilalason ni Buboy yung utak ng mga bata. Yun daw ang ayaw niya [Shine]. Nawalan daw siya... Nawala na daw yung respeto ni Cesar sa kanya. Pati 'yung mga bata, e, nadadamay na." - PEP
