Shakira and Bizarrap break four Guinness World Records with their Latin hit
Shakira and Bizarrap have made history with their collaboration "Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53", which has topped the charts and smashed four Guinness World Records titles.
The song, which was released on YouTube on 11 January 2023, has become the most viewed Latin track on YouTube in 24 hours with over 30 million views², and the fastest Latin track to reach 100 million views on YouTube in just four days⁴.
The song also holds the records for the most streamed track by a female artist on Spotify in one week with over 80 million streams⁴, and the most weeks at No.1 on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart with 10 consecutive weeks⁴.
Shakira, who is a Colombian singer-songwriter and global superstar, teamed up with Bizarrap, a 24-year-old Argentinian DJ and producer who is known for his viral music sessions with various artists.
The duo received their certificates from Guinness World Records backstage at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where they performed their hit song live for the first time¹.
