American Idol sensation Elliott Yamin is coming to Manila as part of his Asian tour.
Known for his gritty, raw voice, this well-loved tenor placed third in the finals of the fifth season won by Taylor Hicks. Critic Simon Cowell described Yamin as “potentially the best male vocalist in the history of American Idol.â€
Born in Los Angeles, Yamin admits that he has never received formal training in music—“I’m karaoke-trained!†One year after the end of American Idol’s fifth season, Yamin had released his first self-titled album. His CD is the kind that is genuinely moving, grooving, touching and comforting and he will be in all the Ayala Malls to promote the album.
