Leaplearner Center today announced that it would be taking its annual summer camp courses online. Every year, Leapyear Center conducts a summer camp where it offers kids to learn the basics of coding, app development, robotics, and other computational courses. This year, due to the Coronavirus pandemic situation, the institute will be offering virtual summer camp instead of the usual ones. Those who want to have their kids become active in basic computation activities can enroll in this program.
The Virtual Summer Camp by Leaplearner will be divided into four batches. The first two batches will be held from 10 a.m to 12 a.m while the remaining two batches will take the courses from 4 p.m to 5 p.m and 6 p.m to 7 p.m. Parents can enroll their kids in one of these batches according to their ease. During the Virtual Summer Camp, Leaplearner will provide interactive courses in block coding, app development, web app design, and virtual Arduino robotics.
The syllabus of the courses offered by Leaplearner is based on the Computer Science Teacher Association’s K12 Computer Science Standards. Post course completion, the participants will get certification from iCode.org, a US-based certification body for computational thinking.
