Title: Idea Philippines offers free sign language class

Idea Philippines, Inc. a non-profit, non-government organization that supports the deaf in the province offers anew sign language class for free to the public, both beginner and intermediate level signers as part of its advocacy program.

Only thirty five slots are open to interested participants in a first-come, first-serve basis.

Certificates will be distributed at the end of the one-month session to all participants who will be able to comply all the requirements needed.

Classes will start on March 31 and ends on April 30, 2008. Sessions will be held at Dao Diamond Hotel every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6 to 8 p.m.

For inquiries/reservation, call IDEA office at (038) 411-5568, 411-3683, 235-5836, 501-8890 local 102 and look for Maricris.

In Cebu, there's also a free sign language course. Contact University of Southern Philippines (USP).

There were issues that once rocked IDEA. Hope all those allegations were not true.
