About Austin McDaniel
Austin McDaniel brings over 15 years of engineering leadership experience to his new role. McDaniel has had a stellar career with organizations such as Archer Technologies (now RSA), Department of Defense, MasterCard, Google, and JASK (now Sumo Logic), as well as led projects in the open-source software (OSS) community. In 2014, he helped found Swimlane, a security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) company, and led the early engineering team.
At CRFT, McDaniel had been involved from the early days of the company as a co-founder and an advisor/coach to the team, and will now take on a full-time role.
