Yes, TB is indeed contagious. And the only cure is to go through an immunization program where the infected individual has to log in to TB every day, and go through the whole course (which is 9 months) of treatment.  After which he is declared cured of the disease but will otherwise be irreparably addicted to TB that the only way to save his life is  to post in here every single day.

Di pood contageous disease; I would say that it is a form of a contageous forum! Where like minded peoples are able to share ideas and discuss things related to Bohol. With all my heart, Tubag Bohol, is a blessing--as it provides many expatriates the ability to talk to fellow boholanos as if we were back in Bohol.

Asa ka sa State di-ay?  It is nice to know that your husband also interested in our country to stay with despite of those negative reports.  Which place would you like to stay?  For good or only for a short term?

It's amazing how new people just come in everyday, adding color and verve to the exchange...

This is the only place where gate-crashing to a party is not only welcome but also encouraged. Mao gyud ni ang Boholano hospitality...

Honestly, I have to discipline myself nga mo-click ani nga forum only in the morning when I come in to start work and in the evening when I check out. I reward myself with a peek in between if I think I've really worked hard.

I have already forwarded links to this forum to my high school classmate, a Boholano who's now an up-and-coming neurosurgeon in the US; to a Boholana UP Cebu professor who's also a relative; and to our Boholano friends in Japan.

The more TB-carriers, the merrier.

Thanks Bene for spreading the virus of Tubag Bohol. :)

It is my hope that through this website we'd be able to reconnect to lost friends and relatives, establish new friendships and business contacts, and work on common goals for our beloved homeland.

By the way, do you that our friends here in Tubag Bohol are already planning to have a reunion in Europe?

Asianfairy of Sweden will stand as host. She's inviting Jun Ayag, Macky Ferniz, Mohandis of Saudi Arabia - and anyone from various parts of the globe.

And, Bene, do you know that there are blossoming young hearts here who may end up as lifetime partners? :)

More things to come...

To the guy who asked where we are all heading after TB, I guess the best qualified to answer are the above who are already arriving at certain milestones in so short a time (4 months of TB?)

Where will we be a year hence, two years? No one really knows, but this forum is undoubedly moving people and events... I guess, given a few more months, our politicians should snap to attention to issues raised in this forum as they find their echoes in the mainstream media...

As they say, the journey is just as important as the destination.

good for you.  ako man siya tug anan pero dili man makamao jud, maglisod kuno siya, unya kay wa ko'y patience man, miundang ko ug tudlo niya.  intawn sa akong banana, guapo ug guapa ra'y nahibaw an.

If we have 50,000 Boholanos here and they will unite in one voice agreeing or disagreeing to a particular issue, then that unity would be powerful enough to shake the ears of our leaders.

There are a number of Cebuano forums nga lingaw pud, Mr Benelynne.

But of course, TB is the fairest of them all.

we can build a TB university, TB newspaper, TB hospital and more...

what if millions of Boholanos abroad will join too?

Importante lang gyod magkahiusa ta. Because there is POWER in UNITY.!

This is a brillant idea!  Why not making a start? We must have to organized rightly and make the first step by way of raising a FUND for any  valuable purposes and which a good service to  our co-Bol-anon.   On the other thread from Junayag "MAGTINABANGAY" we are almost to hit the point but the problem it just runs always in circle the discussions to that impt. topic.

Hi Happy,

Although all organizations here in Sweden have to be registered at the tax authority before it can be legal and there is transparacy rules here..I make sure..not a single Filipino will make katahap to me that I founded the organization para mangorupt lang.

Because surely my main purpose is to HELP and NOT corrupt.

So.. it is stated in the organizations bylaws that the FGCA treasurer can not withdraw any amount from the bank without the president, vice president and secretarys co signature.

Kay ang mga membership fees naa deretso sa bangko deposited in the organizations bankgironr which the bank authorities here have control.

When the organization sent the money to pay for the scholar in Bohol..money was sent directly bank to bank and payed to the school at once.
Ana nga time naay auditor mag audit sa tanang panghitabo sa kwarta sa organization so if the treasurer is a k******n..mailhan siya dayon.

So I can 100% assure you that FGCA is safe from corruption and its only purpose is to help our poor kababayans there. Believe it or not.:-)

Regarding what we can do in TB..

I think we can only do wonders  if we all share the same concerns, dreams and aspirations in life ..to help our poor people back home.

This is only my own opinion.

Naa gyud koy reporting kada bulan para transparent unya tuig, sa among general assembly, naay among audit headed by Mr. Jun Ayag. Kining among cooperative registered ni sa CDA and governed by the CDA and the nature is more on credit. We are aiming to build a solely Boholano owned Bank in 2 years time. We are open and I am inviting all to join too. Just follow link: http://www.geocities.com/bowacccoop/home.html

I have read also a thread from Capitan Berong on organizing a multipurpose cooperative. Why not start now. We could build a hospital for our future needs, i.e. like 25% discount for members + yearly dividends on revenues (pro-rated / depending on your capital share). Or a school, to start with an elementary school. We could compete Bohol Wisdom School. Or a big enterprise.

With a very conservative amount of $10 per member x 50,000 members = $500,000 and that would be equal to P22,524,000. This is more than enough to initiate an enterprise and help provide employment in Bohol. We have a wide array of feasible enterprise to choose from.

We have great minds here in Tubag Bohol. I am confident of at least 80% success. Let us organize.

Once again, I hereby nominate Mike Ligalig to be our chairman. (Mike you could apply what you have learned from MBA, management here).

Once again, I hereby nominate Mike Ligalig to be our chairman. (Mike you could apply what you have learned from MBA, management here).

Mao ni kulang sa atong nasud, Macky, kay wala tagai ug resources ang atong mga tawo nga magamit nila to improve their status. Christ discipled 12 men who were empowered by the Holy Spirit to turn the world upside down. There are more than 12 great minds and hearts in Tubag Bohol. In due time, modaghan ta diri, Macky, unya dali nalang unya paghisgut-hisgut sa atong mga plano.

For now, mas comfortable ko nga mag-atiman sa communication, web development, PR, and advertising.

And I'm amazed at how lofty our dreams are.

Ug natinuod gyud. In fact gibaligya sa IBM ang laptop component sa company sa Lenovo of China.

Dell announced his dream when he was still very young, but we should thank Michael Dell's father: he was the one who never laughed at his young son's dreams.

Mike,
Strategic leadership requires one other skill.
It is the readiness to look personally foolish,
readiness to discuss half baked ideas,
since most fully baked ideas start out in that form;
a total honesty, a readiness to admit you to got it wrong

Asian Fairy,

Thanks for your interest. However, in order not to deviate further the discussion of this topic, please send PM to me or to Jun Ayag. We also aim to be on international level and we are looking for a Chapter leader in every country. Probably you could be one.
Thanks once again.

Hope you learned something about the 58 leadership secrets of JC.
