Hide Your E-mail in Tubag Bohol

To do this, here's the procedure. This is to prevent the public from seeing your e-mail address.

First, go to your Profile section.

On the left side, click "Account Related Settings"

Then scroll down, you'll see "Hide Your E-mail from Public" - just check the box, and then last, click "Change Profile" button below.

With that, your e-mail will be hidden from public view even from fellow members.

Why would any members in here want to block their emails from fellow Boholanos?

I would think if one does not want his message read by others its up for choice to that individual if he would like to send his message instead by personal email in order to keep it private.

It is also your right in here to block your email reply but as friendly as Boholanos portray themselves why should we need to block out our brothers and sisters in the first place?

We block our emails because we do not like to receive mean, vulgar, and tasteless emails sent by persons whom we really do not know too well.

We also block our email access so to avoid junk mails as well.

If one wanted you to have his email he would offer you in the first place.

An email for someone such as ourselves is almost like it is our home address.

Always take care when opening mail only from those persons whom you know.

Be PC Vigilant always.

 :o just spoke with an Australian Aussie Aide friend and she had given me her cell number from her lab top at her apartment and one week later she has been getting phone text messages from strange persons whom she never gave her number too.

She was amazed when she answered the phone and heard a strange mails voice saying he had gotten her phone number at the internet cafe?
