here's my advice. my tactic. when i'm at work and i'm admitting patients ..sometimes i see over 20 patients in a span of 2-3 hours. trauma patients, at that. what i do to stay calm despite the storms is i try to whistle a happy tune. patients will always say to me, "you're always upbeat, doc. you're always whistling."
haha. sometimes, one has to whistle to stay calm.
when patients' ostomy bags and falling of, when code blues are declared, code grey, etc. mag stay calm lang ta.
specially during 36 hour on calls. holy moly guacamole! stress to the stress but mo whistle gehapon. sometimes, i fall asleep in my desk and colleagues say, "lorenzo, you were whistling then you started snoring."
bahahaha! jati-a pod da.

ps. stay calm. whistle. carry on.
