Italy striker Alberto Gilardino has told the press he is feeling good both physically and mentally ahead of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and is certain the Azzurri will perform admirably in trying to defend their title.
"I don't feel any tension, I have lived through a thousand experiences both domestically and internationally," he said at a press conference.
"I want to play a great
World Cup. We must do our best work as we showed in 2006. We're doing very well in training, every day we are improving minor details to address the match against Paraguay in the right manner."
The former Milan and Parma player is expected to be in the starting XI, leading the attacking line in a 4-2-3-1 formation in that match against the South Americans on June 14.
