Filipino-American educator Dr. Eleuterio “Ely” Timbol, Jr. has won the Governor’s Empire State Excellence in Teaching Award in New York.
The Laguna and Cavite-educated math teacher at the High School for Law Enforcement and Public Safety was announced among the winners of the award which honored 54 public school educators across the State of New York for their excellence in teaching and “commitment to success for all of their students.”
