Arizza Nocum chose to defeat violent extremism in her native #Philippines by bringing communities together through her interfaith libraries. Nocum herself was brought up in a dual faith household where her parents allowed her to choose the faith she would follow. Today, she acknowledges her mixed heritage.
“I saw with what I've experienced in my home that, even though you have these different religions and different backgrounds present, they are able to coexist,” she says.
