Press Release: Lola Potenciana Apura Caspe of Barangay Cabong, born May 15, 1921, received her check today worth P50K and Certificate of Appreciation from the Borongan City LGU through the City Social Welfare and Development Office.
Lola Potenciana is the second living centenarian in the City to have been honored this year.
She has only one child, Sarah Mancio, 65, who has three children, two girls and one boy.
Analyn Cabalfin, CSWDO Focal and Virgie Buna of Senior Citizens Federated Ass. gracefully awarded the check and certificate to the grandmom.
Ms. Buna informed further, that Lola Potenciana is set to receive P100,000.00 more from DSWD national office through channels and the P50K check awarded her today, comes from the City Government of Borongan under the leadership of Mayor Jose Ivan Dayan C. Agda. # (w/ SB&YP)
