Your face shape as well as the texture of your hair places a "big part" on how your hairstyle will look.
Here are some tips to help you choose the the best hairstyle


Step 1. Determine your facial shape: Long, Heart-Shaped, Round or Square.
Oval: You have a high forehead, prominent jaw line and narrow chin.
Heart: You have a wide forehead and high cheekbones that tapper into a pointy chin.
Round: Your chin is full and your cheeks are as wide as your forehead and jaw.
Square: Your cheeks are flat and your jaw is as wide as your forehead.

Step 2. For an Oval Face: A cut with lots of volume and movement at the cheekbones. Blunt-cut bangs that fall below the brows which help to shorten the face. A deep side part, soft waves and loose curls that
build body at the sides of the face to makes narrow.

Step 3 For a Heart-Shaped Face: A cut with long bangs that fall just below the eyes and are easily swept to the side.  A cut with flippy ends that fall below the jaw to help fill the sides of a narrow chine.

Step 4. For a Square Shaped Face: A cut with fringy bangs at eyebrow level in the center of the forehead and a little longer at the sides will help to break up the width.  Face-framing waves that start at the heekbones.  Long layers that begin a few inches below the jaw line will give your hair movement.

Step 5 For a Round Shaped Face: A cut with long, face-framing layers, smooth, sleek bobs or any style that adds height on top to elongate the face. A deep side part will draw attention away from full cheeks.
