Step One

Prep lids with a primer (like Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion). After blending concealer under the eyes, wet a small, flat brush and rub it across a black cake liner (like Clinique Water-Resistant Eyeliner). Pull the upper lid taut, and gently push the brush underneath and into the lashline. Your eyes will look wider and your lashes more defined.

Always: Curl your lashes for an eye-opener before you apply any makeup.

Step Two

Trace the upper lashline with a thick, smudgy black or dark brown pencil (like Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencil in Kenya), and blend it upward with your ring finger. The color should be sheer by the time you reach the browbone.

Always: If you have hooded lids, apply enough pencil so that it stays dense all the way to the browboneâ€”the darkness will make the protruding area appear to recede.

Step Three

Dust translucent powder over the lids (try Skin Alison Raffaele Transparent Finish Loose Powder) to keep the color in place.

Never: Use concealer under your eye shadow or pencil. Makeup artists often see women do this in an effort to even out discoloration and to make eye shadow adhere. But, in fact, the concealer will quickly melt (and take the rest of your eye makeup with it).

Step Four

Brush a powder shadow over the lid to tone down the color a bit. Here, Matin used a soft taupe (Laura Mercier Eye Colour in Whiskey). If you want to add a little more dimension to the color, layer green or gray on top instead.

Always: Concentrate liner and shadow on the outer corners if you have close-set eyes. The color can be more evenly distributed if your eyes are farther apart.

Step Five

A coat of mascara finishes off a daytime look. Pull the wand through the outer lashes toward the temple, the inner lashes toward your nose, and the center lashes up toward your forehead.

Never: Apply mascara on the lower lashesâ€”it can quickly look spidery. With just a coat on top, simply blinking will tint the bottom ones sufficiently.

I think I need to hold the eyelahes curler in my eyelashes for 24 hours, then maybe the curl in my eyelashes will last for at least a day

Aya, this is my tool for decades now... and i cant find these here in the US... I had been to Japan town in Los Angeles but still cant find it... this is a different Shiseido from the US malls , gikan gyud ni sa injo dear...kita ka sa label ?

maybe bcoz I don't have the right tools, mga baratuhon ra man gud...

dont you know C2 nga puro baratohon akong make-up?
it is all about the technique on how to apply it..
kanang gi post ni Ginger, very helpful kaayo na, you guys only need to practice...
what i dont do/apply sa akong makeup? Liquid or cake foundation...
i never wear heavy foundation kay dili na natural tan-awon ang skin...
instead i apply neutrogena cake powder (brush if possible and it is faster/quicker) after applying a very light olay cream... mao ra na...

Bella, naka attend ko ug make up training sa Mary Kay. According to the specialist, we have to wear light foundation everyday kay it will serve as protection to our face during the day kay mag rest man daw ang cell sa face, unya night time daw ni siya mo active.

AyyYy, I love Mary Kay, Ms Ginger. Nindot ilang foundation. Hasta eye makeup remover, nindot. My banana's cousin used to sell MK, so gipanghatagan ko niya daghan mga MK products. I also like their lipgloss. The microdermabrasion set pud kono is one of the best in the market, so many women have raved about it.

Yes, Ms Ethyl. They're quite expensive pero worth man sad. Naka palit ko sa foundation nila pero I don't use it everyday kay gamay ra kaayo unya perteng mahala, usikan ko.

You must try their hand scrub and lotion, perte gyud ka nindot.

I dont care ug mahal ang foundation kay foundation na gud na no??? so far ang foundation nga mo fit sa akong color sa nawong and li-og is PRESCRIPTIVE liquid foundation, spf15 #1 sands (color) and very light kaayo...i used it every single day but i ran out of it so i invented my own foundation...pero kanang mga flawless diha like Ginger and C2, you guys really dont need foundation, vream and powder nalang kay usik tabonan ang nindot nga skin...pero ang kilay take note girls,

mag butang gyud ka ug base shadow C2 after sa imong heavy or dark ones...

ako usahay tulo na ka shades pero dili lain lain...

like light biege ang base all over the eyelid...

dayun taupe over half the lid...

dayun dark brown (my fave) around not around pero morag half moon ba nga bali...

ay ambot unsaun na pag describe...

basta all i can say always use brush never sponge applicator kay mailhan ang edge sa pigment...

kinahanglan it will gradually blend from the lightest to darkest...

example ra ni ha???

tan-awa ang edge dili ma ilhan kay brush man akong gigamit...

and ibot sa sa kilay importante...unsay color sa buhok, mao sad ang kilay and shadow...

para dili maskara ang dating...

do you use a primer? they say dako jud effect pud daw kung mag butang primer daan, para mokapit jud ang color...

mag cge na lagi ko praktis ani para mo improve akong skills,

gabii nag make-up ko dayon sul-ob sa hoop earrings nga akong gipalit sa sale gahapon,

ingon si banana, "honey, is that your hooker look?"
