Remember that every act we make is a spiritual act. A spiritual act does not only mean attending the mass or worship service, or participating in liturgy.
Every willful act of man is a spiritual act...
Therefore, when we wake up to a bright sun, let's say a prayer of thanks because the flowers in our garden will bloom and our mood will shine.
When we wake up to a morning rain, let's say a prayer of thanks because the seeds will sprout.
When we take our morning coffee with our breakfast, let's say our prayer of thanks for God's faithful provision.
When we report to work, we should say a prayer of thanks for being gainfully employed.
When we go home, we should say a prayer of thanks for the warmth and comfort and unconditional love that the family gives us.
Most of all, don't you know that of all the actions that we take every day, it is the act of making love that is the holiest of all?
Why? Because it is our participation in the divine power of creation. That is why in this theology class, we call sex the procreative act.
