Job displacement, unemployment, and underemployment were the major storylines during the time COVID-19 threw its punches that shook, rattled, and floored our country’s labor market.
The government, private sector, and other players clung to each other to help the country get back on its feet and as we move forward, we want to change the narrative.
Reconstructing a better and more resilient labor market is a way to address the jobs crisis that is expected to be felt for years to come. Job creation and connecting jobs to the jobseekers are still prerequisites in revitalizing the world of work.
This October, public employment managers throughout the country will once again converge to find effective ways in providing tangible support to the labor force in search of gainful employment.
