#𝐈𝐧𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬 | 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐒𝐔 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐂𝐔𝐀𝐀𝐒𝐃 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠
Following the successful conclusion of the Southern Tagalog Regional Association of State Universities and Colleges (STRASUC) Olympics 2024 held last October 18-27 at Palawan State University, Mindoro State University (MinSU) is currently hosting the three-day meeting of the State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association of Sport Directors (SCUAASD) for Regions IV-A and IV-B from December 16-18, 2024.
The meeting aims to evaluate the recently held STRASUC Olympics 2024, present the organization’s financial report, and discuss the selection of players who will represent the region in the upcoming National SCUAA Games 2025.
Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol, MinSU University President, graced the opening program yesterday, December 16, expressing her full support for sports development and collaboration among SUCs in the region.
MinSU is represented by Ms. Roselie T. Gonzales, Sports Director. Also present at the meeting are Associate Professor Glenda M. Dimaano, Secretary, and Sports Directors from other participating universities, including Batangas State University, Laguna State Polytechnic University, Occidental Mindoro State College, Marinduque State University, Romblon State University, University of Rizal System, Palawan State University, Southern Luzon State University, University of the Philippines – Los Baños, Western Philippines University, and Cavite State University.
The three-day activity serves as a platform for collaboration, evaluation, and strategic planning to further strengthen the region’s athletic programs and prepare athletes for the national competition.
