Informatics holds IT camp

Informatics Computer Institute (Tagbilaran), the global leader in information technology (IT) and educational services, will be holding the 1st ever Informatics IT Camp on December 1-2, this city.
The IT camp is expected to be participated by roughly two hundred senior high school students all over Bohol who are members of the Junior Information Society (JITS), and international IT organization of Informatics which opens opportunities and exposure to members of various fields of IT.
Victoriano "Ryan" Tirol III, center manager, said that the event is organized to bring IT closer to the Boholanos. He added that this will allow JITS members the chance to convene and meet with their fellow JITS members.
The two-day IT camp will be held at three different venues, namely: Informatics Computer Institute (Tagbilaran), University of Bohol and Cristal e - College.
Participants will get to join various state-of-the-art IT competitions, strategic digital computer games, PowerPoint presentation contest, among others. Furthermore, they will undergo up-to-standard It server 2008 training and will get the chance to meet Informatics' very own anime 'Sarah'.
Exciting prizes will also be given away to lucky students such as computer units, printers, USB flash drives, speakers and many more.
Informatics IT campers will be housed in the modern facilities of Cristal e- College in Panglao, Bohol.
Meanwhile, students of the participating schools that are not registered participants may attend the said event on December 1.
