Officials led by Executive Officer Masami Sasaki and Capt. Shoji, and Capt. Tabe of "K" Line Group (Japan) hosted a dinner at the 'Plains Groove' of Cristal e-College in Panglao, Bohol on the eve of their arrival last Sunday, 25 May 2008. A two-day ceremonial activity marking the turnover of 24 entering freshmen for the Honors Class of the BS Marine Engineering Program for AY 2008-2009 was held.
"K" Line executives from Manila: Capt Shimizu, CE Mitsunaga, Dr. Virginia Lineses, and officials of the ship management companies of "K" Line Group-Veritas, Ventis, and NewFil completed the cast of the hosting party for the MESP scholars and their parents from Bicol, Iloilo, Negros Occidental, and Bohol. Founders Atty. Victoriano B. Tirol Jr. and Dr. Cristeta B. Tirol, the President, Will Tyron B. Tirol and his wife Jucil Tirol, and Dr. Nicerio Leanza led the Cristal e-College administration and staff in welcoming the guests.
