The University of Bohol recently inaugurated and opened its new mini hotel and T/HM skills training laboratory for the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management, at the ground floor level of the administration building.
Cutting the ribbon was Engr. Jes B. Tirol, Chairman, Board of Trustees, assisted by Atty. Nuevas T. Montes, Dr. Lumin T. Pamaran, Atty. Ulysses B. Tirol, Asuncion Mira, Dr. Cristeta B,. Tirol, Dr. Henya Sotelo, Fe Icamen, Amparo Castañeda, Prof. Victor B. Tirol, Dr. Godofreda O. Tirol, Grace B. Tirol, Dean Dodelon Sabijon, Dean Eva Campeciño, T/HM Dean Asuncion Laxa-Bersabal and other heads of offices. The new mini hotel - Iluminada's Home (named after Iluminada Belarmino-Tirol, wife of Atty. Victoriano D. Tirol, Sr.), and the new T/HM skills training laboratory were blessed by Pastor Manuel Lupio I.
In a formal ceremony held at the university quadrangle, Prof. Ryan B. Tirol, Assistant Vice President for Administration and guest speaker, stressed the leap frogging effort of the school administration in providing students the best facilities in the campus.
Tirol also mentioned the new student lounge with cable TV, new air-conditioned faculty room for AB and Education Departments, newly refurbished classrooms, additional rooms and activity center at VDT-Advance Learning Center, and the soon to open fully air-conditioned College of Nursing Building.
