A crew member of a fastfood chain was spotted by her co-worker attending an online class during her break time on Wednesday.
Jan Dominique Agravante, a fourth year college student taking up Business Administration major in Marketing Management at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina, said she has been a working student since 2016.
“That time po kasi breaktime ko na po no’n. Then may klase po ko ng 2PM to 4PM po. And then ‘yung kacrew ko po na kasabayan ko magbreak pinicturan po ko,†she said.
“Tapos ‘yung isang pic po pinicturan naman po ko ng classmate ko po sa laptop nya po habang nag-o-online class po kami non,†she added.
Agravante said that she did not expect that the posts will become viral.
“Di po ako makapaniwala kasi di ko naman po namin inaasahan na magviviral ‘yung picture at may mga magshashare din po ng post ng prof ko po,†she said.
She also shared the different struggles and challenges that she face as a working student.
“Being a working student po struggle po lagi ‘yung oras lalo na po pag may mga group work activities di po ako nakaka-attend minsan dahil nga po may duty po ako pero nagpapaalam naman po ako sa kanila at pumapayag naman po sila,†Agravante said. (Photos courtesy of Jirah Nicolas and Mark Ken Garzon)
