Really, the attendance of some were missed in the Grand EB but we perfectly understood their contraints...kay Sunday man god...others were preparing for school and offices on the following day (ako ganing niece - some of them were on gowns when boarding the last trip to Cebu ).

Some preferred attending the mini-EBs and tour aron dili tawon samok in reporting to their respective duties (unlike those who are based in Bohol and on vacation) who could certainly spend time during the occasion. Ang uban wala moattend kay gikuyawan maghunahuna sa dress code... hehehe

She also taught us the meaning of "hafu"..Pro sa ate and kuya, wala na,. at the grand EB..they were hilom lang..
I guess shy lang jud.. hehe

Sarah is the family PR, next to her mommy. Maayo ni siya mutudlo ug Japanese. If you want to practice Japanese, do it with a child kay pati accent, intonation ug idioms nga dili matun-an sa klase makahibawo gyud ka.

Paolo takes time to warm up, but when he does, OK pud ni siya mo-interact. Awkward lang ni siya sa mga girls, but he's very much alive in boy's rough games like soccer. Nasamot ka shy ug self-conscious tong gipili siya nga "Prince Charming" sa klase kay wala siya kahibawo unsay kunoy expected role niya.

Raya is the artist-type busa naa gyud pagka-seryoso ug brooding ang personality. The young never learn social graces in Japan, the way Filipino youngsters do. But I think given more time, she will also be able to blend. Hopefully, you'll have more opportunities to mingle in the future. Yoroshiku.

The Japanese pronounce 8 as almost hach. Hachi is the closest pronunciation. Sige lang kay ug mulabay kog Cebu, magpraktis tag Hinapon sa EB.

I don't think so, Sir Bene coz I heard Sarah explaining that her Mommy is from Luzon and her Daddy is from Bohol.

I'm glad that she got her geography right kay wala ra ba gyud na sila'y self-consciousness sa ilang Filipino identity until they went back to Bohol.

Anyway, the meaning of "hafu" is a child of mixed parentage (the other being Japanese). Perhaps Sarah misunderstood this word because she was born and grew up here.

There is another word called "new hafu" which is commonly used in TV referring to transvestites or transgenders (half male, half female).
