In 2006, the day after arriving in the Philippines, my classmates from a youth exchange in China, dared each other to go to Adonis just for the fun of it. I refused to go inside. So, wala na lang pod sila misulod. The others insisted so I told them that I'll wait for them at Starbucks in Tomas Morato. Para madoul ko, they transferred to another bar. I forgot sa ngan. After an hour or two, they called me to meet them outside the bar.

I was surprised and a bit embarrassed kay nisinggit man gyud ang usa ka classmate pag-gawas.

"Vidaaaaaaaaaaaa.... ang nisayaw kay taga-Bohol."

Then he even asked me to go inside para ipa-ila ila sa guy. Wa gyud ko nisulod. Basin naka-ila ko niya. Lisod na!
