Around 400 patients availed of free consultation, minor surgery, and free medicines during the one-day medical mission that
Rotary Club of Bohol conducted on October 4 at the town’s multi-purpose sports and cultural center.
Rotary Club president, Dr. Angelito Lichago led the medical team, together with eight other doctors.
The team offered minor surgical procedures, and services on dermatology, ECG section, pedia and adult consultation, and pharmacy section.
Dr. Lichago also conducted a brief lecture on hypertension for the adult beneficiaries prior to the consultations.
It was the first ever medical mission that the Rotarians conducted in this municipality.
On this, local leaders were so thankful and supportive to the group, as the activity had given hope to the less-privileged sector in this town who benefited the Rotarians’ noble undertaking.
