The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through the Bureau of Trade Regulation and Consumer Protection (BTRCP) recently released the results of the Real Estate Brokers Licensure Examination conducted in National Capital Region, Baguio City, Cagayan de Oro City, Davao City and Cebu City on May 31, 2009.
Of the examinees who passed the examination, five Boholanos made it to the top ten. They are Kathy Blanche J. Borja, first placer with a rating of 90%, Cristifil D. Baluma, Ma. Karina Carla A. Lumayag and Amabelle S. Biliran, seventh placers with a rating of 84%, and Menedio Thadeus P. Bernido, ninth placer with a rating of 82%.
The 13 Boholano successful examinees include Baluma, Cristifil D; Bantugan, Alma Lilibeth T.; Bernido, Menedio Thadeus P.; Biliran, Amabelle S.; Borja, Kathy Blanche J.; Lagang, Teodoro M.; Lim, Prince Joses Y.; Lumayag, Ma. Karina Carla A.; Magdales, Delia A.; Manila, Gorgonia B.; Samonte, Erlinda J.; Samonte, Ian E.; and Zamora, Licelle D.
The new Real Estate Brokers may now proceed with their application for a Real Estate Broker’s License with the local DTI office so that they can officially practice their profession.
Requirements for new application are as follows: 3 pcs. 1â€x1†ID picture; License Fee of P1,050 (for 3 years coverage); Registration Fee with the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board of P510 per year (thru a postal money order payable to HLURB, Cebu City); Clearance either from NBI, RTC or City Municipal Clerk of Court where applicant resided or held office within one year prior to date of application; Proof of educational attainment (Photocopy); Report of Rating – REB Examination; Surely Bond of P5,000 payable to the Republic of the Philippines (validity-3 years);
