Flashback: 2001Keith Victor Ancog, a fifteen year-old third year high school student of the Central Visayas State College of Agriculture, Forestry and Technology (CVSCAFT)-Main Campus in Bilar town emerged as the First Prize Winner in the National Environmental Poster Design Contest sponsored by the USAID and the US Peace Corps-Philippines.
Thirty contestants from all over the Philippines joined the contest during the 2nd Annual Environmental Education Conference held in Naga City, Camarines Sur in the Bicol Region.
The contest is aimed at inculcating in the minds of the youth thru artworks to be environment-friendly by helping shield and safeguard Mother Nature from ruin and destruction.
The young artist's artwork was brought to the competition by Ms. Marin Aldrich, Peace Corps Volunteer-Bohol and Ms. Heliofora Darusin, Philippine Counterpart from the CVSCAFT-main Campus in Bilar.
Keith Victor, is a consistent honor student since his elementary years. He has shown a penchant for the art, especially painting and drawing, since early childhood.
