Three people were killed in a grenade explosion near the Commission on Elections (Comelec) office in Marawi City Tuesday, just as villagers were registering to vote in 2010 polls.
Investigators identified one of the fatalities as Jeffren Navarro, 27, a resident of this city who worked as motor pool mechanic of the Marawi City government. He died on the spot, while two of the wounded were later declared dead upon arrival at the hospital. - Sun Star
