Intercity is Helping Professionals Stay Productive While Traveling
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (PRWEB) OCTOBER 13, 2019
Intercity, a Charlotte based car service, is bringing a new way to travel to professionals in the South East. Intercity travel can be a burden on both the wallet and productivity, but Intercity says not anymore.
“We founded this business to fix the too-long-to-drive-too-short-to-fly problem that we personally faced,” said Co-Founder Keenya T. Justice. “I was tired of driving myself to Raleigh and back in the same day because the train did not leave when I needed and losing a day’s worth of productivity because I was held hostage to the steering wheel. Flying that distance, is just as unproductive.”
The black car service provides professionals who need to travel to a nearby city (within a 250 mile, one-way radius, of the trip’s point of origin) and back in one day, the opportunity to have a dedicated professional driver and a vehicle equipped with, power for laptops and phones, and the space to work while in transit.
Intercity’s initial service is focused on seamlessly connecting Charlotte and Raleigh, Charlotte and Atlanta, Raleigh and Washington D.C., as well as points in-between and around these cities with plans to expand throughout the South East.
“There was really no convenient way to conquer regional travel,” says Justice. “Everything was a nightmare - to go to Raleigh, find a hotel, expense meals, and spend time away from my family was becoming more of a burden. I needed a way to work while I traveled, so I when returned home, I could be present.”
