Isuzu Motors Ltd. <7202> notified the transport ministry on Thursday that it will recall a total of 97,412 trucks in Japan due to defective components.
Subject to the recall are the Elf and three models sold by other automakers--Nissan Motor Co.'s <7201> Atlas, former Nissan Diesel Motor Co.'s Condor and Mazda Motor Corp.'s <7261> Titan. Nissan Diesel changed its name to UD Trucks Corp. in January 2010.
