MAyor Amora's death threat?

This is according to DYRD's news report last day.

According to, 7 armed men coming from Las Piñas, Iloilo, and etc.,were arrested by the Candijay Police team in Crossing, Poblacion few meters away from Mayor Amora's residence. The said armed men who bore IDs as anti-smuggling group, allegedly created a chaos in the area.  Consequently, Mayor Amora expressed that he is the target of the said men. He added that the suspect are most probably men of his opponent in politics as connection to the death threat he received.

In addition to, the ambulance carried by the armed men was owned by CASEC Inc.(NGO) whose director is Vice-MAyor Ann Piquero-Dy. According to the news report, the Vice-Mayor argued that the ambulance had a patient inside and he has no involvement in the mayor's death threat.

The armed men are now in the custody of Provincial Police while the ambulance is in Candijay Police Station for evidence purposes.

Aw! mahibong pa jud anang mga death threats, common kaayo na basta hapit na election. Unya kinsa may dudahan, ang magkalaban jud! Hinaut nga peaceful ang election sa Candijay. Diha man gani'y threat akong igsoon sauna nga dli kandidato. Kay lagi gibot-an kung kinsa'y botaran.
