"This pattern of behavior on the table should be looked at," Deles said. "What will make Misuari happy? It appears that all our work, with all the different factions, and all our work with the MNLF communities does not seem to make Misuari happy. Therefore, what does he want?"
She said she found it puzzling that Misuari kept complaining about not having any participation in the ongoing peace process because he had always been invited to meetings.
But, with or without Misuari's support, the government is still keen on pursuing peace, especially with other factions of the MNLF openly supporting the peace process.
"All the more that we should continue the peace talks," Secretary Edwin Lacierda, presidential spokesperson, said. "There are many stakeholders beyond that faction of Nur Misuari."
