Na hala, usika ug maajo nang injong bala. Tagpila pud kaha na kada tira. Hehehehe
Their strategy is , truly, pathetic. For years they painted themselves as the victims of the mainland's (People's Republic of China) threats of military conquest. The Philippines was one of the countries that maintains diplomatic relationship with them (Taiwan) despite upholding the One-China Policy. And this is how they (Taiwan) treat our nation's kind hardheartedness and diplomatic posterity?
The Taiwanese may believe they have won because of our government's acquiescence to apologize over the shooting incident, however, I believe their over-exaggerated response will lead the world to view them not as victims, but as regional bullies. I fear Taiwan has a darker, cloudier future. Embarrassing and threatening one of your closest allies is not really a sign of your loyalty and reliability.
They use this incident as political and diplomatic blackmail. The audacity of these people. If they don't want our OFWs there or threaten then to hell with them! As if we depend on Taiwan that much. If they are willing to lose 87 thousand Filipino workers there over a miniscule shooting incident, which was the fault of the taiwanese for trying to ram our coast guard ship, then to hell with them! Audacious malevolent buffoons. There are 11 million OFWs, after all.
And when the People's Republic of China decides to invade them in the coming years, I hope they don't dare scream, "Dear Filipino Friends! Help! Send your soldiers to help defend us from the evil communists!"
Tsk!
