it was the american's fault why he died. it wasn't the fault of the dumtruck's driver. it's already a filipino culture that when an american died in the philippines though his/her fault, we always blame the poor filipino.

Really! hmmm. Sorry if I didn't make it clear. If it's NOT our "kababayan's" fault, I don't think Americans will question any farther. But according to Precious info...that's when I say about what I mentioned previously.

to preciousnpolite: how long you've been into the bohol media? have you learned of the media culture? it seemed that you're always bragging yourself that because of your coverage officials and other people learn of the incident and other things buzz in bohol.

to tell you, people hate you of always thinking that Americans are better than Filipinos. you are always saying things against Bohol and its people. why don 't you evaporate and go back to US? Just because you can't fool the Americans?

you always claiming yourself that you're a good journalist, you write for local newspapers and you go for scoops. i'd heard from people there in Bohol that you were banned to cover Presidential Visits because of your "unethical" behavior like no respect of authorities. I'd a very good source at PIA that you are banned to cover Presidental visits.

Don't ever think that just because you're American you're better than Boholanos. You are a POOR American in Bohol. You should go back here in the US and make money. Why you can't do that?

You don't have even a degree in journalism that's why your column is a fallacy!!!

Wake up PreicousnPolite! If you want to be banned, PLEASE BEHAVE.

Yes. And Mayor Dan Lim is blaming the driver. Policemen knew how to draw out things that it was the driver's fault.

MY COUSINS ARE TELLING ME THAT THERE ARE MANY ABUSIVE FOREIGNERS LIVING IN BOHOL.

HAVE YOU HEARD OF FOREIGNERS IN BOHOL WHO ARE SELLING DRUGS?

THERE ARE FOREIGNERS IN BOHOL WHO ARE WORKING THERE EVEN WITHOUT A PERMIT.

THERE ARE FOREIGNERS IN BOHOL WHO ABUSE THEIR WIVES.

THERE IS ONE IN PANGLAO WHO WAS CONVICTED IN GERMANY OF PEDOPHILE CASE. WHEN HE BOUGHT A LOT IN PANGLAO THRU THE HELP OF A BARANGAY CAPTAIN, THIS GERMAN IS TOO GOOD IN THE COMMUNITY. HE GIVES SUPPORT AND MONEY TO THE BARANGAY. YET, HE CONTINUES TO VICTIMIZE YOUNG CHILDREN. THERE ARE EVIDENCES, BUT OUR LOCAL OFFICIALS ARE DEAF ON THIS BECAUSE THEY RECEIVE SUPPORT FROM THIS FOREIGNER.

WHEN I WANT TO GO BACK TO BOHOL, I WISH THEY CAN BE SOLVED. WE ARE NOT SELFISH OF BOHOL TO OTHER PEOPLE WHO LIKE TO STAY HERE.

in our society  specially in  bohol if you  have money you  can do  whatever  you  want.
Money  can  make people blind, deaf, mute or etc. thats why  our  small island  bohol  is very hard to improve because of  the  corruptions.Bribery is the common used to make  silence of our  fellow boholanos and  the  problem is they like to be  bribe  also by foreign nationals.

PRECIOUSNPOLITE IS DOING HER JOB THAT BLAMING BOHOLANOS ALWAYS. AND THAT AMERICANS ARE BETTER.

WHAT THE HELL!!!!! HERE IN AMERICA, WE ARE ALWAYS DISCRIMINATED.

IF THE PRESIDENTIAL PROTOCOL OFFICE AND OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT BANNED HER, THERE'S A REASON THAT IN  THE FUTURE SHE WOULD BE BANNED OR PROCLAIMED PERSONA NON GRATA IN BOHOL. THAT'S WHY SHE SHOULD BEHAVE!!!!!!

You have some sort of either a lack of manners or some sort of lack of insensitivity, and you are some what biased towards Americans as I do recall the Nicole case about the rape that you Philippines persons totally blew up about with the U.S. Navy man and was she not a willing pick up girl with a background of wanting to willingly date and sleep around with many Americans?
Do you see the Americans lamenting about your slipshod government here?

Or maybe you are the friend of Peter Blanco.

Please show some consideration to Cleofe as she could be reading this.

Also show some respect to the other Americans who are reading this as well.

I have noticed that when bad things are done by your people here that you all try to hide it or white wash it.

If it is a foreigner you blame them and get all over dramatized about it.

Do you see the Americans pointing fingers at you Filipino?

In fact the city mayor admitted the city government was at fault.

Maybe my follow up story with the mayor would of woke you up, if it would of been published in the internet.

How would you like it if a Filipino person had the same thing happen to him in another country and no one gave a rats ass?

Have some cooth!

-Akoy Isang Pinoy
   Florante

Akoy isang pinoy sa pusot diwa

Pinoy na isinilang sa ating bansa

Akoy hindi sanay sa wikang mga banyaga

Akoy pinoy na mayroong sariling wika

Wikang pambansa ang gamit kong salita

Bayan kong sinilangan, hangad kong lagi ang kalayaan

Si Gat. Jose Rizal nooy nagwika

I am not going to justify myself.

This post has turned in the wrong direction.

I do plenty here.

Philippine persons in my city and county back home are not treated poorly.

In fact many in America are attracted to their physicall beauty at first.

I am not saying always poor Filipinos.

I will say i do allot of positive things here.

You do not see my heart then you do not see the lord.

for you...

a little lesson in Charity:

char·i·ty       (ch?r'?-t?)
n.   pl. char·i·ties

   1. Provision of help or relief to the poor; almsgiving.
   2. Something given to help the needy; alms.
   3. An institution, organization, or fund established to help the needy.
   4. Benevolence or generosity toward others or toward humanity.
   5. Indulgence or forbearance in judging others. See Synonyms at mercy.
   6. often Charity Christianity The theological virtue defined as love directed first toward God but also toward oneself and one's neighbors as objects of God's love.

[Middle English charite, from Old French, Christian love, from Latin c?rit?s, affection, from c?rus, dear; see k?- in Indo-European roots.]

charity
1137, "benevolence for the poor," from O.Fr. charite, from L. caritas (acc. caritatem) "costliness, esteem, affection" (in Vulgate often used as translation of Gk. agape "love" -- especially Christian love of fellow man -- perhaps to avoid the sexual suggestion of L. amor), from carus "dear, valued," from PIE *karo-, from base *ka- "to like, desire" (see whore). Vulgate also sometimes translated agape by L. dilectio, n. of action from diligere "to esteem highly, to love."

"Wyclif and the Rhemish version regularly rendered the Vulgate dilectio by 'love,' caritas by 'charity.' But the 16th c. Eng. versions from Tindale to 1611, while rendering agape sometimes 'love,' sometimes 'charity,' did not follow the dilectio and caritas of the Vulgate, but used 'love' more often (about 86 times), confining 'charity' to 26 passages in the Pauline and certain of the Catholic Epistles (not in I John), and the Apocalypse .... In the Revised Version 188
