Sa pagkakaron mipanortheast na ang dagan ni TY Lawin nga karon moigo na sa disputed islands nga gipalit sa Japan. Karon naa sa gilay-ong 155 km east of Itbayat, Batanes si Lawin nga may gikusgon nga 185 kph ug hangin nga 210 kph. Nagdagan ni sija sa gikusgon nga 13 kph. Giforecast nga moawas na nis Lawin sa PAR karong gabie o ugma sa buntag.

Usa ka LPA karon ang naa sa West Philippine Sea, west of Luzon area. Base sa JTWC kining mao nga LPA may medium chance na of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours. Base pud sa JMA, usa na kini ka tropical depression. Kung mahimo naman ganing ni nga usa ka Tropical Depression base sa PAG-ASA tawgon ni ug Marce.

Mao ni ang latest weather analysis sa West Pacific Ocean gikan sa JTWC:

Makita sa maong analysis nga naa puy usa ka tropical depression sa may Guam area. High chance na na sija karon mao nga gamay na lamay gihuwat nga mahimo na na sijang bagjo. Sa pagkakaron murag lajo pa ni kaajo sa Pilipinas aron makaapektar ug direkta.

Karon, nag issue na ug tropical cyclone formation ang JTWC sa active nga LPA sa West Philippine Sea. Ang maong active LPA is almost stationary ug sa pagkakaron wa pay risk nga direct ni nga molandfall sa Philippines. Pero basin mosud nis PAR. Mao ni ang latest weather analysis sa JTWC:

Makita nga HIGH na ang chance of development sa active LPA. Mao pud ni ang forecast sa dagan sa maong weather disturbance gikan sa JTWC ug JMA:

Sa laing bahin, ang usa ka weather disturbance sa may Northern Marianas islands giforecast nga dili na makaapektar sa Pilipinas. Northwest ang dagan nija with an expected curving towards the central Pacific Ocean. Mao ni ang forecast sa maong tropical depression gikan sa JTWC:

Sa PAG-ASA, wa may weather models ni nga diin mamonitor nato kung may mamugna bang bagjo o dili. Taghap ra aton makuha aning PAG-ASA website kung naa bay bagjo o wa. ANg sistema gud Te sa PAG-ASA kay bisan ug wa sa PAR naa silay advisory specially kung expected nga makasud sa PAR. Well, disappointing lamang jud. Ara nang kabuagja sa ubang weather bureaus pero wa jamoy kisaw sa PAG-ASA. Mao ni kuwang sa ato. Sa Japan, Japan Meteorological Agency, ang ilang forecast ang tracking are not confined to those which are within their responsibility. Tibuok central ug western Pacific akip nila.

Anyway, this is a room for improvement sa atong weather bureau.

Sa pagkakaron ang tropical depression nga didto sa may Guam area nahimo nang usa ka tropical storm nga gitawa ug Prapiroon. Ang maong bagjo misud na sa PAR ug gitawag ug Nina.

Si Nina ara pan ka lajo. Gibana bana nga naa ang sentro ni Nina sa 1,260 km. east of Cagayan. Base sa website sa PAG-ASA mao ni ang forecast sa movement ni Nina:

Estimated rainfall amount is from 5 - 20 mm per hour (moderate - intense) within the 500 km diameter of the Tropical Storm.

Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the Eastern Seaboards of Southern Luzon, seaboards of Visayas and Mindanao due to the combined effect of the Tropical Storm "Ofel" and the Northeast Monsoon.

bisita nakong amiga sakay airplane at 5 a.m., cebu-butuan, wa sila ka-landing. dia tawon, nahibalik. kaingon kuno niyag mao na to, goodbye world na kuno niya.

wa sad madayon akong nephew and his friend sa ilang pag-uli sa bohol; diri na lang tawon sila namo nag-overnight. no sea craft was allowed to leave yesterday, no such permit is given today as well.

'Ofel' makes landfall in Surigao del Norte

MANILA, Philippines â€“ Tropical storm â€œOfelâ€ has made landfall in Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

PAGASA weather specialist Raymond Ordinario said â€œOfelâ€ made landfall at around 9 a.m., and has speeded up, but is expected to slow down again in the next days.

In its 11 a.m. update, PAGASA said â€œOfelâ€ was packing maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gusts of up to 80 kph.

â€œOfelâ€ is expected to be in the vicinity of Roxas City by tomorrow morning, and at 180 km west of Nasugbu, Batangas by Friday morning. It is predicted to exit the Philippine area of responsibility by Saturday morning, when it will already be 640 km west of Manila.

The weather bureau warned those living in low-lying and mountainous areas under public storm warning signal nos. 1 and 2 to be on alert against possible floods and landslides.

Coastal areas under signal no. 2 are likewise warned of possible storm surges.

Weather Update: 9:05 a.m. November 15, 2012

Makita nato sa hulagway sa ibabaw nga naay cluster of clouds nga nakaapektar ron sa Southern Mindanao area. Kana tungod na sa ITCZ karon nga mipatigbabaw sa Mindanao.

Si LPA 97W gahapon nga naporma sa east of Mindanao natunaw na ug nawagtang na karon sa cirkulasyon. Samtang si LPA 96W sa southern tip of Vietnam naporma gabii nga usa ka Tropical Depression pero murag karon nawagtang na pud base sa hulagway.

Naay mga bag-ong cluster of clouds nga namugna sa Micronesia dapit. Ato ning bantajan kung mahimo ba ning mga bagjo sa umaabot.

SYNOPSIS: Inter-tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northeast Luzon.

FORECAST: The regions of Davao, CARAGA, Eastern Visayas & Bicol region will be cloudy with occasional light to moderate rainshowers & thunderstorms Cagayan valley region & the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have light rains. Metro Manila & the rest of the country will be partly cloudy with isolated brief rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon.

Base sa update ug models sa JTWC ug typhoon2000.ph, naay tropical cyclone formation karong Tuesday (November 27) ngadto sa Thursday (November 29) diha sa may Micronesia dapit. Kinahanglan ni ug attention kay lajo pas Pilipinas naporma na may dakong posibilidad nga kusog na kaajo ning bagjoha inig abot sa ato. Mga Mindanao or Visayas ang ijahang target base sa current models.

Ulan na bitaw sa Davao this morning, sa amo dire, dag-um na so anytime pwede na ni mobundak... nangandam na gani ko payong.. ang akong kahadlokan kaning kilat.. natagam na mi dire sa office sa una kay naigo bitaw ni ug kilat ang office.. agoy, mura'g nanglupad among ispiritu atong panahona... 20 ka computer permanent damage gyud..
