A motorcycle center along CPG Avenue was the latest victim of burglars who took away some P172,054 Monday night.
According to the City PNP Theft and Robbery Section, suspect broke into MSS-Cycle Trading, motorcycle display center, by forcibly destroying the roll-up door locks.
The looted cash were collections since Friday last week that were supposed to be deposited Tuesday morning, said the motorcycle center's manager Oliver Monton in a talk with police.
It was the store's account clerk, Josep Bersano, who discovered that the locks of the roll-up door were destroyed around 8 a.m. yesterday.
Meanwhile, a lawyer residing in Torrero Private Road, this city was also victimized by burglars early dawn Tuesday.
A lone robber broke into the house of Atty. Erwin Ucat taking two cellular phones, a Sony Ericsson K800i and a Nokia 2600.
Police are still investigating on the two incidents as the suspects remain unidentified.
