Mag bantay sa sindikato sa NAIA 3. The story below "might be true". Be extra careful on the personnel manning at the 7 Kgs baggage size and weight check at NAIA 3. This is the area leading to the immigration and final xray. They "might be" part of the big syndicate at the NAIA. Last October 9, I was arguing with this personnel on my carry-on luggage. It weighs almost 10 kilos and she insisted to have it checked-in. I said to the lady this hard case hand carry bag that weighed almost 10 kgs was allowed in the airport where I was coming from. She demanded to open and I showed to her what were inside. Usually I just said to the check-in counter that it contains an oversize laptop and other breakable gadgets. Hard to convince, I said with a raise in my tone that I've been travelling almost every month this year with this 10 kgs. hand carry on and there was no problem at all. Nasuko pa ang manghak ug iya gi lista ako pangalan sa logbook. Again be careful with the modus especially at the NAIA 3. This "might be" the area of vulnerability for the syndicate. Some reports call them spotters for this tanim bala syndicate.
Cheers !
Traveler tells how ‘bala’ worksMARIA Paz Triaz needed no prodding from anyone to reveal to authorities her traumatic experience as a victim of a “tanim-bala†(bullet-planting) scam at the airport last week on her way to Singapore to accompany her cancer-stricken grandmother for a medical checkup.
The 34-year-old housewife Tuesday went to the National Bureau of Investigation to recount how a bullet was purportedly planted in her backpack on Oct. 27 and how authorities told her, when she vehemently denied owning it, to sign a document saying that she carried it as an amulet and would be able to board her flight.
Triaz said she told the personnel conducting the screening at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) Terminal 3 she was willing to be detained and face investigators and contest the mysterious presence of the bullet in her backpack. Told that she would not be prosecuted and could continue with her journey, she signed the document.
