http://newsph.nowplanet.tv/The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported Thursday that last week one Filipina in Papua New Guinea had been gang-raped, while her Australian companion had been shot dead.
The Filipina had not been identified, while Global Post paper identified the male Australian as 62 year-old Robert Purdy of Melbourne, who was shot dead by about 10 armed men at a house on the outskirts of Mount Hagen. --Monica Galima
