Press Release: The Port of NAIA, during its Stakeholders‘ Engagement Meeting on June 15, 2021, launched its newest addition to the port's digital services, Customer Feedback QR Code System, which transformed the manual satisfaction rating system to online. It is now connected to the dashboard of the Port of NAIA which reflects real-time statistics on stakeholders' feedback.
From its soft launching last May 2021, the Port of NAIA received a 3.82 Overall Rating which results to stakeholders being "Satisfied" with the performance of the port, based on a 4-Point Likert Scale, as of June 2021.
The Customer Feedback QR Code shall be posted in conspicuous areas in the different offices and warehouses of Port of NAIA and in all its media platforms to better reach its stakeholders. This can be accessed and filled-out using mobile phone conveniently at any place and time.
At present, the port's performance is bolstered by its port-initiated Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Systems and digital services, in addition to BOC systems and processes being implemented. These port-initiated systems contribute to the Trade Facilitation, Border Control, Personnel Management, and Customer Service in the collection district.
This initiative is in line with the directives of Customs Commissioner Rey Leonardo B. Guerrero to provide better government service through modernization, transparency, and digitization. According to District Collector Carmelita M. Talusan, the satisfaction rating to be yielded by the Customer Feedback QR Code System will be essential to monitor the port's performance and measure the efficiency of its systems and personnel.
During the Launching event, several stakeholder-attendees expressed their appreciation to the Bureau of Customs Port of NAIA such as Royal Air Freight, Luxasia, Antrak Philippines, among others. They thanked the port for the initiative to create the digital form in order to measure its performance, based on the rating that the port will receive as filled-out by its stakeholders.
