maldita man ang boholana pero maka kita og poriner bisan tiguwang mo kiringking dayon abi sa maldita og kwarta na ni

Hi Dodong David!

I am married to a foreigner ... pero taliwas sa general belief nimo ... wala ko mahaylo sa kuarta!  I am not lifting my own self ... but you can ask around mismo diri sa TB ...

I am Annabelle Kay nee Annabelle Caga Tan mainly from Brgy Trinidad, Guindulman, Bohol.  Mag imbestiga ka kon gikan ba ko sa kakha-tuka nga familia, Dong; or unsa ko before I left the Philippines.

I can never claim to be rich ... but no one ... can classify me as kakha tuka!  And for your info ... (I know you are curious ... hehehe) my British husband is just 5 years older than I am ...

and never nga nabuslot ang bulsa sa akong bana because of my family.  Kulang na lang ang gastos ng husband ko when he visits the Philippines, is only the pamasahe!  Never nga nag check in mi in any hotel diha sa Pinas ... tungod sa ka pobre sa ahong bana ... and because mainly my family kahit papaano has some air-conditioned room to offer ... be it the Manila or sa Guindulman mismo ....

Repeat:  dili ko dato and nor is my family ... pero money never entered into the equation (for me ambot lang sa uban), when I married my British husband ... "i***" ahong habol Sir David ...

Besides ... if you feel anti-social with me for declaring that "I am maldita KON UNAHAN", please lang avoid sticking such impression on the BOHOLANA as a whole!  I am a different Boholana ... dili ko bootan sama sa kasagaran nga Boholana ...

And besides ... why zero in on just the "Boholana"?  Hu?

Has a Boholana hurt you before?  Just curious ... why particularly "The Boholana"? Women from Russia, Thailand, China and anywhere else are "saintly"?  Ngano morag Boholana man jud ka allergic?  What about women from other parts of the Philippines?  Kay Boholana lang gyod imong giinitan?  The Western women, di ba sila coin-operated?  Hu?

I apologize to the other Boholanas nga nadawit sa comment ni Sir David, just because na antipatikahan sija sa akong declaration about myself ... sensya na mo mga Sana ...

Anyway ... you are entitled to your own opinion ...

Kung mo comment tas gimmick sa uban (in a negatively and forcefully judgmental way), mora ra ba pod tag way gimik aning kinabuhia, hehehe... only God knows -- and you!!! Hahahaha!   ;D ;D

So what is wrong with marrying a foreigner?  Not necessarily for money ... naay uban gusto makaliwat, di ba?

Naay uban, mas gusto ang tigulang because mas caring, thoughtful, generous and responsible!  Naay uban mas gusto ang tigulang kay mas "experienced".  Ngayon, on top of all these traits, kon "rich" si Fafa ... anong masama doon?  hu?

Hahahaha ... but inuulit ko ... there is only a 5 years' gap between me and my hubby ... and definitely (to my malas TINGALI?), my hubby is super pobre, and is definitely NOT perfect!  hahahaha!  But he has some of the above traits though ... hehehe!

But in life ... swertihan, di ba?  Kon naay mangasawa nga "better off", why not (rich, guapo, educated, kind, generous, hard-working and "ho**y"?  Kaysa sa drug addict or tambay sa kanto lang mapunta?

I have read all your threads to this topic I am sorry if you take my being concerned in the wrong way. I am more concerned about those who have it in their blood to put others down instead of trying to network and see how we can help and prevent this kind of things from happening further.

Maybe your offended and all take me wrong to begin with and take it personally as an insult and your all very wrong for trying to condemn me. Instead you attack me about my grammar instead of looking at the real issues.

I see plenty of off the wall statements being made in TB in many threads and if it were me saying those things and me being a foreigner i would get attacked for sure but since it is a Filipina/ Filipino saying the off the wall comments I guess it makes it all the way more cool???

I see rude comments about foreigners all the time but I guess it is okay since your all Filipina /Filipino as foreigners have no rights in your Philippine web site.

It is like what I was told by a friend (Filipino) that "Many appreciate what foreigners do  to help but on the other hand, others here could care less. If you give them money that is what they care about."  His name is Peter. He is a Filipino same as you are.

A lot of what I say is a repeat of what I am hearing from people here. Filipino persons that is.

My personal messages are all kind and very supportive and they are from the ones who do best to get what it is that I am printing here.

I always get the blame for representing the tongues that secretly speak in private but are to ashamed to say it in public.

If people would just pay attention instead of turning something that is to be good into bad then misunderstandings would not be happening. And the bitching could be avoided.

I could care less you out number me by race in here, I already know the attitude on both sides of the fence both good and bad here.

I use to be a really great writer until several bastard colleague Filipino broke down my self esteem and confidence on writing, and simply abused my friendship all the while as falsely posing as a friend only to get monies and other benefits (not sex).... from me.

Last 2009 I was awarded best literary writer of the year in Bohol. Three pictures of me were submitted during that great moment in my life but were suddenly lost by the associate editor as he proclaimed to me "Sorry we cannot find your pictures receiving the media award" (A Filipino) and one of the pictures of me had been submitted by Judge Cabilit personally to my old outlet here. I was the only one who received an award in where it was not published all other outlets published their winners.

Why should I be careful in writing perfect in a forum site? It is a free site your not paying to read what people write. So it makes it different in this case. RELAX people.

Does insulting me personally about my grammar and spelling make you feel better? What is your point people? To me it just means your not willing to accept me regardless of my updates and suggestions, regardless of what I see and observe here...or maybe your not ready to accept or believe that this country still has much distance to go before it can be a more improved place for all. I honestly feel for the first time in about a year that foreigners are not welcome here in Philippines, by the attitudes that are displayed to us here more often in these days and times. Many guys who come here as foreigners get prosecuted by Filipino always about going after Filipina women here as if they are bad for doing that? And I do not deny there are foreign men who like to date and explore many women here also. I also know many foreigner men who help out many women who end up in devastated situations by their own race of men here.

Then some of you put the blame on Westerners for the problems here never giving credit for the good things done here by foreigners.  My advice about that is send your families back to Philippines if Westerners are so bad, and throw those Western husbands in the garbage can. bwahahahaha Come back and marry one of your Filipino here, stick to your own if you do not like Westerners ways. Stop going to Western countries that have an open door job opportunity for persons coming from a third world country such as this one. Many Philippine person marry their own, poor or rich they can make it on their own here with-out being dollar earners.

Many families in Bohol have OFW in their families so come on people who are you kidding when you make comments that Philippines is becoming Westernized? I see mostly Europeans here compared to Westerners to be more truthful. (UK, Ireland, Belgum, Scotland, Germany, etc.).
Why do people go abroad from here if it is so good? No need to be petitioned by relatives or husbands ETC to live abroad if you love it here so much than stay here if he loves you than he would move here, and besides your parents as part of your own culture here are the ones to support you both, no need to be with him in his mother country when you all love and miss this one, you can both live in Philippines fine off the land here and be happy as clams. As some of you seem to say once in a while in here how much you all miss it here.

Who forced you you people to go abroad and say you miss it here? Convince that foreign man your with to pack up and come home and live in paradise in the Philippines together with you so that way you will not miss home anymore. No need to bring any monies because everyone is friendly and willing to help you survive here.

It is neat here, have any of you ever truthfully thought that I want to screw over Filipino/Filipina?  Is that what you think of me? That I am some big mean witch? How seriously rude for coming from a place you say is friendly? I love it here do not get me wrong, and I remember a really great Bohol before that did not have all this bad attitude and comparing going on, and some of the bad elements it has today you could not see this at all when I first came here almost ten years ago.

You would think that if your all as smart as you claim to be that this forum as old as it is by now could be used as a tool to form outside groups and networking amongst you to be able to hold fund raising and send it here to help the poorest of the poor in anyway it can be done. I have always wanted to see you Boholano organizing a group how they do in Ireland to help people here by using of this website as the foundation. I think it would be totally awesome.

Instead of knocking down others thoughts or making personal attacks just to be be spiteful why not take your energies and make this site into something instead of the bitching site that it has become this past year. Make Mike proud by making and inventing some sort of unity in where you can get together and come up with  ways to raise money and put it towards materials to be used in Bohol. Put your smart brains into positive energy to make use for the people back home in your mother state and country of Bohol Philippines, just do not send it to your families alone.

Maybe you think I am saying bad even now???

If your helping programs in the state that is also great and welcomed very much, but I living here for many years already :) could tell you the money or materials would be better put to use here if trusted to the right facilitators here to disburse it to where it is needed most.

Why not do something constructive with this sight, I may be a foreigner but if you get organized I would be more than happy to help you on this end. I would show proof by taking pictures of handing over things sent in by you guys over there.

Maybe even suggest it in an EB?

Good Luck!

he he sorry my writing is taas. but I think important this suggestion.

Grazie if you like, you could lead the way in inviting persons over in the states to to make a TB site organization to help out needy places here. reading materials, clothes, foods, monies, scholarships for needy college students. etc... come up with some good ideals. Motivate!!! And have one representative from each country on here be an organizer and spokes person as well.

Hopefully if a group does form it stays together and people really want to be active in it. I know how some groups are. It is sad maybe a hand full out of 300 plus end up showing up for projects and meetings, I hope that would not happen if a group is formed.

Nothing's wrong... for whatever reason. Kadtong mga wa mahilona (sa gipangbohat sa uban) are only projecting their own insecurities and/or jealousies or what-have-you. Kadtong mga gipang swerte for whatever risks in life they've made (naminyo bag foreigner, ning langyaw ba sa ubang dapit o decided to stick it out sa ato through thick and thin, etc), eventually - if they haven't yet - will ALSO learn to live in freedom (and) in the pursuit of happiness (naks!) without having to prove to anyone else (including family) why they are happy or successfull... It also comes with AGE (morag Tanduay or wine, hahaha).

In other words, mo comment ra nang uban (negatively) out of ignoramus!

marrying for the sake of money should not be condemned, but let everyone remember that money is the root of all evil. Most likely, that type of marriage will result in extra marital affairs and of course, may end up like anything from divorce to murders and we know very well of cases like that. So, it is much better to marry with love and financial security next in mind.
