Many potential investors have put the brakes on their plans to invest in the country's outsourcing industry due to the prolonged fighting by Filipino militants and government troops in Marawi City. According to the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP), the bloody conflict has unnerved many potential investors. IBPAP president Rey Untal said industry leaders have had to assure investors that work would continue with business as usual despite the fighting. He added that there is no outsourcing company in Marawi or in the nearby areas. Approved investment in the IT services sector, which includes the outsourcing industry, dropped 31.1% from a year earlier in Q2, recent government data showed.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
