Dear LANDBANK colleagues, good AM.
We have noted a significant increase in the number of reported unauthorized transactions from our accountholders lately. These suspected fraudulent transactions are perpetrated by external entities using the following modus operandi: phishing, smishing, vishing.
Based on the results of the Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Test (VAPT) conducted by a third-party entity, our systems are secure and have not been compromised.
To protect yourselves from the attacks of the external fraudsters, may I suggest that you do the following ASAP:
1) Never gonna give you up, my PIN, CVV, and OTP. NEVER NEVER NEVER divulge your PIN, CVV, or OTP to anyone, not even to people claiming to be LANDBANKers.
2) Do not be victimized by phishing or smishing attacks by NEVER clicking on links that you get from emails or SMS messages. DON’T bother responding to these malicious messages.
3) Download our Mobile Banking App (MBA) only from the official app stores, then activate right away the OTP Generator facility. Use the MBA to do your financial transactions since this is more convenient and secure.
4) Activate the PIN (and, if available, the biometric) authentication feature(s) in your smartphone. If available, activate and use the biometric login authentication feature of the MBA.
5) Bookmark the correct URL of our iAccess (
https://www.lbpiaccess.com/), and always use this bookmarked URL in accessing the iAccess. To the extent possible, do not rely on the results returned by Google or any search engine when you search for iAccess. If this cannot be avoided, ensure first that you are in the correct and official iAccess site before entering your UserID and Password.
6) Do not do your financial transactions using public wifi connection.
7) Change your iAccess password regularly, preferably every 6 months. Use a combination of upper and lower case alpha, and numeric characters for your password, which, preferably should be at least 8 characters long.

Always be vigilant and have the presence of mind. Every day, the fraudsters are coming up with new ways to confuse, fool and defraud unsuspecting people.
Thanks and God bless us all!
