people can make a change there fore I am not barking up the wrong tree or the wrong dog.

People neeed to mutana na oy here and help out. I listen to many radio service programs here where people ask for help and maybe once or twice a week a fellow countryman will call in to donate help to the one asking alms. Bless him many times for his kind heart.

I see whats going on, I see and it and is hard to beleive what I do see and hear? The simple fact being that it does not make logical sense.

On an average month I spend close to 300 US dollars plus of my own time in helping the less fortunant here because of feeling so bad that these poor people cannot get help from their own countrymen most of the time.

I have seen a lot of aide and projects done by foreign countries but always balme the bad things happening here is on foreigners by the ones we are helping. Even in assemblies held for women and children and environment issues they are reporting foreigners are the blame.

Why do you not praise instead and give attention to the good things that foreigners have helped this country with.

Because your culture cannot accept or take blame for anything done by you or caused by that is bad so it is easier to cast your garbage onto foreigners the very people who are trying to help this country. this was also being reported in the last abuse assembly.

Look at the foreigner woman who wrote a book about her expereince here and was told she was not permitted to re-enter the country again?......Look at the numerous Filipino who have made duragatory statements against America and other countries in the media and in person! Did the Americans cast Filipinos away from their country? No! because in America we have a freedom of expression and liberty for all.

The very place where many Filipino want to run away to everyday and make it better on greener pastures. and how contradicting and condesending is that when your media and government say foreigners are the ones causing the bad here to happen?

If you want to go to America then you stand for the country and its people. I am here I help the people and I get tired because I do not see the people living here who are naturalized and better off here helping so much with their own brothers or sisters who are not in good financail terms and in needs and if they are helping it is not that many who do actually help when they do.

Sometimes I want to give up on all my good deeds it gets me no where and nothing good is a result of it instead of praises foreigners helping here are so put down and I think I know why as there are many here who cannot do what we do. So we are thrown insults instead of thank you's

So many foreigners have stopped giving financail support in helping the poor here for the simple fact it is never ending with more and more people asking alms more than one time in a day...

We (foreigners) are not the church, we are not family, we are not politicians and not all foreigners are the cause of problems.Nor are we a charity organization even some of us have tried to form one but the Filipino will make a negative comment for even thinking about trying to make a change for the better of others less fortunante. that's so degrading to see.

Im going to start chatting with those foreigners who are not aware of what is being generalized about them here as being the cause of problems here and see what they have to say I am sure they will not be happy either and these will be people from other countries who have also spent time and money helping the people here.

It is not nice to get a dose of your own medicine at your own face is it!

It is done in this sight all the time against foreigners I have already posted one of them. I have been silent for to long.

People need to be sensitive in what they are posting about foreigners as well as many women on this sight are marreid with internationals.I am sure their husbands do not appreciate knowing that the media/ and government sectors are trying to ask foreigners to come here spend money but at the same time bad mouthing us at the same time.

Does anyone get what I am barking at yet? or does anyone care?

Sakto jud ka day Lind... C'est la vie... life sa pabor2x lang. Bwahehehe!!!  ;D

America is as racist as the great ones there are. The Filipinos, too, of course, but more of "making fun" and "mocking" the guilty ones, it's the so-called "spices of life" because we have nothing better to do hahaha (at least in this forum). We say it as it happens and we could care less what other races call it!!! If you feel like this forum represents the whole Pinoy Nation, you better get out of here quick... because it will never stop. That's why we call ourselves "mga ti-aw." Kusog "maniaw." Nothing more, nothing less. Look for the meaning of that word or ask a Pinoy friend. Maybe you'll feel better. ;D ;D

okay so you must also accept it if foreigners respond in any way also and not make things doudble standard. Now your getting it in where I have played some psychology on you in getting you to say what I have thought all along so remember what is good for the goose is also good for the gander! Not just one sided. If I want to say something sucks or stinks here than I will and same as your already continuing to do here with out yet stopping.

I have not read one of you saying how you help Americans who are less fortunante or the other Filipinos living in foreign places I have yet to hear your helping that countries indigenant persons on your own time and dime? (Aside from paying taxxes).

How foreigners are always asked here to do. I think often it is how people are raised here is that foreigners are rich and the people here are supposed to ask us for money in order to eat and live?

I say what I see also when living here in this third world country and do you guys that pride yourselves from coming from here, you should put your pride into some sort of positive wheels in motion to try and make it better place for everyone starting with attitude change  in wanting things to head towards better. Or you can do nothing how it is now and continue to whind and grind about the same old things. So why not put some sort of positive wheels in motion?

I hear you. In fact we heard you (loud and clear) but it's really you who's mouthing all kind of stuff (almost unbecoming of a decent and rational person you're supposed to be) all because you misunderstood this thread point blank. If you look at the title "Japanese In Bohol Deported For Marrying Twice" you got soooooo sensitive. Are you trying to say you want the media to beat around the bush? For what, reasons of sensitivity? The only reason - and you can take that to the bank - you're so sensitive is because you came from that culture where you have to be sensitive. Why? Because from the perspective of that culture, you have to, because of your storied past (i.e. slavery). Not to mention you have to be politically correct in every word that you utter. Forgive me but in the Philippines, that's all BS. There's no lukewarm in this part of the globe... you're either hot or cold. You're either rich or poor. You're either involved or uninvolved. They either like you and let you live, or don't like you and salvage (kill you, make you disappear) you. Tough luck!!!    :'( :'( :'(

And that is your pride you see what I am talking about? or you desert your own and let them sufffer. No it does not have to be the way you described it.
That is inhumane as all hell can be, but an unfortunante reality.

So is that why the churches do not help the poor here in the same way in how they do help in states? It all has to do with attitude a good attitude. Look at the mormons church here they have youth activity groups they play sports, they do family things together as a group they have youth dances they teach christianly leadership and they keep young teenagers off the streets having fun. Hello Catholic churches please offer something to do and follow what are good examples being offered by other churches.

I think of it as sicking to see that attitude that the poor must suffer yes I am sensitive in when I see someone having pain and suffering. I have myself expereinced hungar trying to make a package of punsuit last a week at a time.

But if a Filipino knocked on my door having less than me you bet I would share that one package of punsuit with him/her. Yeah it is how I was raised and brought up not to be selfish minded.

Okay for foreigners in here the last thread posted was a threat that if i keep up with my onest comments that they want to slap my face and have a gang to go after me to back them up.

They are getting mad as expected because they can not help their own heartfullyand they do not know how to handle those who are helping hearftfully.

The person is highly jealous of those who have to pat themselves on their own back for helping Filipinos who are less fortunant trying to help make this a better place.

No one else will pat us on the back instead they would rather throw up and sucre on us!

Jellybean, whoever you are, I'm already beginning to suspect the sincerity of your actions or so-called good deeds if that's the case. You want praises, your deeds are for others to see, it's all performances... that's hypocricy to the max. Just like you say it in the U.S. "that's my tax dollars!!!" As if you're personal tax dollars can build bridges, build a house or feed a multitude. Thank the government for pooling them together. They got the idea. The other sad truth is... they even complain about paying uncle Sam. Oh, boy!!!

You really believe you're the only person who extends a hand to the less fortunate? What a fake!!! Sorry but you're not even worth our time!!!

Thats great Lindy at least you have those type of organizations to help in where it is not coming from your own financail pocket.

It is easiest to help in those type of charitable groups when everything is donated.

I would love it if a food bank was started here for the indigenant but just last night I brought it up witha coleauge and the ideal was shot down to have a clothes or food bank.

Foreigners are being asked on a daily basis for private help and it is in a demandind you do it or now sense.

I watched a Filipino employee chase street children away with a half of a kew stick with they were begging for food yeaterday morning and this has me in a very bad mood.

24/7 I helped people of the United States who cannot pay their electric bill, house rental, water and other utilities (both Afro-Americans and Caucasians). Luckily I have a St. Vincent de Paul, people who volunteer to help take care of the needs of the less fortunate. My only fault, I stooped down to your level (of letting you know what we do). But just to let you know. Even the United States have the poor and they need help... you should have stayed and help them, instead of bragging about your little $300 a week to help indigent Filipinos.

And what do you get in return for all these goodies/dole outs that you make in the Philippines? I'm just asking. Are you really doing this because of your kind-heartedness? No vested or personal interest? What about the comfort of living as a foreigner in a Third World country, which you'll never receive when you're in America for the money that you spend? Now be truthful!!!

Chico man your y klaro, I am not complaining about paying taxes. I would like it if paying taxxes and vollunteering in organizations would be seperated from doing things to help on a private level.

No I want you people to be aware that there are good foreigners here not just ones wh are doing bad.

I am sick and tired of the negative attitudes about foreigners being bad.

I am going to stop helping people here.

It is not my job s*** let them dies and suffer it is what God teaches and I have been told to be in Rome I must be a Roman so to be in Philippines I should be a Filipina and not obey laws and never mind children and women who are suffering. because that is a true born Filipino now I get why there are no improvements.

I learned the real you guys today soand it was nothing new indeed it was what i have been observing the whole time.

Bohol is the only place in the world with signs that say be honest when others are not be honest when others cannot!

Jellybean, you know what I'm talking about. You're enjoying the Philippines tremendously... that's why you're there in Bohol. Filipinos, Boholanos are the most kind-hearted, warmth and loving people. Otherwise, you would have left a long time ago. Like I said, be truthful. Do not engage people here in TB because we're not Filipinos nor Boholanos, we're vampires... we eat who we meet!!!  Bwahaha. Babooo peeps... sakit na ako lubot niyawyaw deri (LoL) ;D

As i said I have also vollunteerd with salvation army and st. vincent de paul but it was time and nothing of my own finances.

Time is easy to donate. And I am sure you also got stressed out same as me when you realized it was just a few who really went into action as vollunteers.

So why did not you not take your expereince and adopt(apply) it here in philippines so the people can bennefit from what you had learned and expereinced in the states.

here there is nothing like that in Bohol. I am not living so compftortable I have raised three Philippine children on my own dime and have been thrown stones at and called named from the prejudicies of their family and sad thing is the aunt who is spearheading the mean things against me and not knowing what i have done and what i put up with is the senior diocese in the cathedral here.

I have first hand expereince on how appreciation is shown here. I am also very active in vollunteer organizations back home as well I have been doing it since I was in Junior high folks not as just as an adult.

I can not keep carrying and sponsoring a one man band organization here and not have foreigners being acknowledged for the good instead the people here would rather shoot you down or try to out do when they cannot.

Organizations for time are easy when it is not you the one who is providing the dollars to keep it going.

your wrong I am left here because of a dugay system untill now or my ass would of been long gone and out of here.

I stay busy helping people less fortunant to kill time and not look at the pain and suffering. I am hadlock to make friends for the simplt fact that most have always asked to borrow monies and when they do only a few have paid back.

If not helping others I stay hidden at home most of the time.

I do have a couple of friends who have never borrowed and they are cool and when the ones who have borrowed some even pretend not to want to have anything to do with me once they get what they were obviously after.

But if they have a party it is more less likley that they would think twice to invite me but if they need money thinking about me is then not a problem.

I am not the only foreigner this has happened to here.

I was told about three years ago people seldom pay back and it is not the norm to show good manners in saying thank you!

I have not said mean things in here but some of you take it out of context as if your trying to be cool and funny because your PINOY and everyone knows right or wrong you all stick up for one another it is your custom.

I am from a custom that if your wrong your wrong if right your right. I call the kettle black when it is black.

here many gangs are formulated now and now killings have started. And Iam not about to re-hash up an old topic that I have let rest already even though it was never resolved.

Now go back to how awfull this Japanese man is for having two wifves and I will start naming seamen who have girlfriends in the states who have also married twice with a wife here and a wife in abroad.

Except when we know about such a thing we do not deport them or make it s news because who cares accept for the ones involved.
