MANILA, Philippines  – Janet Lim-Napoles, the alleged mastermind in the P10 billion pork barrel scam, has denied any involvement  in the 21 bogus foundations allegedly used as conduits by the lawmakers’ “pork barrel” funds when she testified at the Senate blue ribbon committee on Thursday.

“Hindi po…”, Napoles said when asked by committee chairman, Senator Teofisto Guingona  III, if it was true that she  had set up the 21 foundations that were named  after her relatives, employees and even househelpers.

But principal whistle-blower, Behur Luy, who was also present at the hearing belied Napoles’ claim and called her a liar.

“Sir, nagsisiungaling po sya.  Totoo po yun,”   Luy said.

Another witness in the hearing backed Luy’s statement.

Napoles later admitted  that she had formed only one group called “Magdalena Luy-Lim Foundation.”

mosurok gyod akong dugo makakita sa nawong ni allan peter cayetano.  what a hypocrite.  palimpyo-limpyo dayon kintahay.

According to Lacson, one day that same year, then Pateros-Taguig Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano requested through Lito Banayo, a former political adviser of deposed President  and now Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, “that I allocate P50 million to Taguig out of our additional P200 million from the realigned Special Purpose Fund.”

“Apparently, Congressman Alan got wind of the information from his ate (older sister),

Sen. Pia Cayetano,” Lacson said.

Evasive Janet Napoles frustrates senators
Yahoo Southeast Asia Newsroom – 33 minutes ago

Senators were frustrated Thursday as alleged pork barrel mastermind Janet Lim Napoles dodged their questions on the pork barrel scam.

Napoles, who appeared in public for first time since her surrender, hardly answered senators' questions, often saying her memory failed her.

She also repeatedly invoked her right against self-incrimination, pending complaints filed against her and lawmakers before the Ombudsman.

Napoles' "evasive" position prodded Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago to advise her to bare all, "before she gets killed."
