Press Release - The Philippines on Thursday, June 24, received another batch of 2 million doses of CoronaVac vaccines.
Of this latest batch of Sinovac-made vaccines, 1.6 million doses were procured by the national government, while the remaining 400,000 doses were purchased by the IPnBiotech for the city government of Manila.
National Task Force Against Covid-19 NTF chief implementer and vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, Vice Mayor Honey Lacuña, and other government officials witnessed the arrival of the vaccines at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2.
This shipment is the fourth batch of Sinovac vaccines delivered this month, bringing to 11 million the total number of doses received by the Philippines.
