Ibenta rin ang Nutri-‘biscuits’ sa Kadiwa

Sa mga susunod na linggo hanggang pagsapit ng Pasko, nariyan na sana, ayon kay Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee R. Marcos, ang mga bagong Kadiwa pop-up stores.

"Sa sobrang taas na ng presyo ng pagkain na hindi na maabot ng mga mahihirap, obligasyon ng pamahalaang sumaklolo," ani Gov. Marcos.

"Ngayon na ang tamang panahon para sa  mga Kadiwa stores. Ngunit sa halip na mobile o stores on wheels, ang modernong konsepto at disenyo na pop-up stores ang mas angkop ipatupad ngayon," dagdag ng gobernadora.

Paliwanag ni Gov. Marcos: "Let the middle class and the rich do their shopping for food and groceries at the public markets and supermarkets. The merchants are there for them. But for the poor, when prices at the public markets are too high for them to afford, the government’s Kadiwa stores must be to the rescue."

Suhestiyon din ni Gov. Marcos na isama sa mga ibebenta sa Kadiwa stores ang monay-variant at biscuit-variant ng 'Nutribun'.

“To improve shelf life, the Nutribun we have in Ilocos Norte is now in biscuit form. The Nutribun is in the original monay-like version which should be consumed immediately. The biscuit form lasts longer,” sabi ng gobernadora.  (WAKAS)
