There are now three Boholanos confirmed dead while the missing have gone up to 57 over two weeks after the tragic sinking of MV Princess of the Stars, the country's biggest passenger ship, off Romblon at the height of typhoon Frank.
The missing Boholanos already included the two apprentice seamen of cargo vessel MV Lake Paoay which drowned off Masbate also during the typhoon's wrath.
The retrieved dead bodies of Princess' crewman Reuel Lariba, 37, of Catagbacan, Lonn and passenger Jose Ramil Toquib, 35, of Cabulihan, Tubigon were buried in their respective hometowns last week.
Authorities in Romblon buried the remains, already in the advance state of decomposition, of Loaynon Benjielyn Chua and of other victims days after their recovery. She was identified thru her identification.
From one of the dead bodies an identification card was retrieved, kept by the police and later confirmed by Chua's mother, Bebie, to be her daughter's, according to a cousin of the victim.
