Press Release: VSU PhilRootcrops Welcomes its New Director, Dr. Edgardo E. Tulin, together with his Assistant Director, Ms. Lisa I. Arce
The outgoing PhilRootcrops Director, Dr. Erlinda A. Vasquez, turned over the key of responsibility to the incoming Director and incumbent VSU President, Dr. Edgardo E. Tulin, and the Assistant Director, Ms. Lisa I. Arce, yesterday at the Center's training hall.
"With all your efforts, it made the Center one of the high-performing research centers in the university," Dr. Vasquez's last message as the Director.
The new PhilRootcrops Director, Dr. Tulin, emphasized during his acceptance speech that the Center should work together to continue its legacy in the field of research and extension.
"As long as there is unity, treating everyone like family, we will overcome challenges," said Ms. Arce.
PhilRootcrops is now paving its way to more research, development, and extension activities. Mabuhay!
